“Each missionary family has stresses of one kind of another, not so different in many ways from any American family in the States. Missionaries deal with educational challenges with their children---learning disabilities, motivation, children going off to college; aging parents, personal illness, etc. Often they must deal with these difficulties far away from their families. They often struggle with the image that missionaries are immune from these sorts of problems. Pray for families in the Indian Ocean Islands, not that we will be immune from any difficulty, but that we will seek God's presence and faithfulness in everything. Pray that we will be real to those we represent and to those to whom we minister."
