In June 2009, you were asked to pray for a Uighur (WEE-ghur) believer who had been under arrest for many months. At that time, there were indications that his treatment in prison had progressively deteriorated. Here is an update: “A Uighur brother who has been in prison for two years has finally been sentenced. It is far more severe than anyone had imagined--particularly in light of another Uighur brother who was released last month. Please lift him up as he appeals this decision, comes to terms with it, and remains inside for the time being. Please also lift up his wife, children and other relatives. Please continue to lift up the Uighurs believers throughout the area.” http://imb.org/main/pray/
