The Jur Team writes: "300,000 people. 300,000 souls. 300,000 living and dying with no real hope in life. 300,000 waking up to a world void of peace. 300,000 trying to figure out how to survive physically, emotionally and spiritually. The task is enormous, but so is the burden. Our heart's cry is a cry of anguish. We desperately long to see a Church Planting Movement among the Jur people, a movement resulting in the salvation of hundreds of thousands of precious souls. Daily we are reminded of our inadequacies, but daily we are reminded of God's complete adequacy. As we sit beside our mud hut at night, with a myriad of stars above us displaying the splendor of the universe, we are reminded of the incomprehensible power of the One who has created us and called us. His love for the Jur is greater than ours can ever be. So to Him we cry out, confident of His love and power, asking Him to call His creation--the precious Jur people--home to Him. Thank you for your prayers to the God of the universe. Thank you for joining us in interceding for the Jur people.
